How EAP Can Help...

Raising responsible, independent children is a challenge for parents. Your Employee Assistance Program can help you develop positive relationships with your children and keep the lines of communication open with them, whether they are toddlers or teens, or somewhere in between. Your local EAP Coordinator can provide you with information and support for the most common parenting problems, from the arrival of a new baby to starting school to resisting peer pressure.

Your local EAP Coordinator is also trained to help you with more serious issues such as when your child appears anxious or depressed, has difficulty coping with divorce or exhibits symptoms of substance abuse or an eating disorder. Your EAP Coordinator will meet with you personally to assess your individual needs and, if necessary, will confidentially assist you in getting help.
